I rarely splurge on expensive moisturizers as I find the cheap drugstore ones do the trick, but my friend convinced me to purchase this day moisturizer from Arbonne.
Pros:
- Fresh citrus-y smell
- SPF 20
- Absorbs easily, makeup applies well on top
- Natural ingredients
- One small pump needed, so lasts long
Cons:
- Price, $48
If you are looking for a day moisturizer and are willing to spend a bit more I would definitely recommend this product, I have been using it everyday for a month and am happy with the results.

Take me back to Cuba!

So I finally caved in and (very belatedly) hopped on to the Urban-Decay-Eyeshadow-Primer-Potion bandwagon.
As an owner of a very high-maintenance pair of monolids, I thought that smudging was just part of life. But boy, was I wrong! I love, LOVE this product. My eye makeup stays on the entire day and there is no greasy gunk in between my eyelids.
Did I mention I adore this product?

Mini life update: Anita and I are official college grads as of Friday. Too bad our foray into the fashion world was harder than we expected… Oh well because Saturday I’m headed to Cuba for my first real vacation, and I’ll post pictures when I get back!!

I always thought cream blush was the unforgiving type, so I always stuck with powder. But I picked up one from Joe Fresh for only $8 in Melon. The colour is so fun and peachy. I apply with a light hand using a blush brush and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to powder. I love how the colour from cream blush seems to illuminate from your skin, rather than just sit on top, lifelessly.
I’ve heard that lipsticks also work great as cream blushes. Bonus!

I’m obsessed with eyebrows. It amazes me how different an entire face can look with thicker or more defined brows. Here is my daily eyebrow routine:
Smashbox cream liner in Caviar
Mac brush number 208
I wouldn’t recommend using a black colour unless your brows are naturally a true black like mine. I start by defining the under side of my brows then focus on the inner corners, I like a square shape. Then I use small strokes to lightly fill in the rest of my brows.

This candle actually smells like a fresh baked cupcake! Makes my room smell delicious and makes me kind of hungry…
